## Description

Markey’s Boxing & Fitness is a boxing and fitness gym located on South Pacific Avenue in San Pedro, California. Founded by Markey Nieves, an experienced cutman and member of the International Cutman Association, the gym combines boxing training with functional exercise in a supportive, community-focused environment. Its classes are led by trainers and welcome people at all fitness levels, from beginners to advanced participants.

Training options include one-on-one mitt work, bag work, sparring, group training, and deep-conditioning drills. Personal training is also available, with sessions designed to help members build fitness, improve boxing skills, and work toward their individual goals. The gym offers scheduled classes throughout the week, including dedicated Wednesday sessions for children and women; visitors are encouraged to call for current schedules and to book.

Markey’s Boxing & Fitness emphasizes discipline, perseverance, and encouragement alongside physical training. The facility also offers access to Markey’s training gear, including gloves and wraps, subject to availability.
