## Description

Mark's Very Large National Lampoon Site is an unauthorized yet comprehensive online resource dedicated to the golden years of National Lampoon magazine, specifically from 1970 to 1975. Founded in 1996 by Mark Simonson, a former magazine art director and graphic designer, this site pays homage to the influential writers and artists who shaped the magazine during its most iconic period. It offers an extensive archive of information, including issues, books, anthologies, and radio hour recordings, while eschewing content related to the magazine's movies or later years.

Designed to emulate the clean aesthetic of the original magazine, the site emphasizes straightforward navigation, making it easy for visitors to explore its rich historical content. Additionally, Mark’s multi-talented background in design informs the site's layout, which has evolved over the years with various web design tools. Whether you are a long-time fan or a newcomer, this site serves as a delightful tribute to a beloved piece of cultural history, perfect for those who appreciate classic satire and humor.
