# Mark Whalen Studio - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `markwhalenstudio.com` ## Description Mark Whalen Studio is the professional platform of Los Angeles-based artist Mark Whalen, whose practice centers on sculpture and explores human emotion, relationships, spatial perception, and abstraction. The studio presents information about Whalen’s exhibitions and editions, alongside contact details, connecting audiences with his work and its gallery presentations. Whalen creates meticulously assembled, figurative and abstract sculptures using materials including glass, aluminum, bronze, marble, and onyx. His works often combine heads, architectural forms, lights, cords, and familiar objects to evoke reflection, vulnerability, connection, grief, resilience, and the complexities of everyday inner life. Some pieces are freestanding or wall-hanging, while others take the form of monumental installations. Vivid colors and whimsical fixtures contrast with fragile materials, emphasizing tensions between endurance and impermanence. The studio’s site documents exhibitions such as Night Lights at Harper’s, Light House, and presentations at galleries and art events internationally. It also lists two editions, Edition 1 and Edition 2, though specific details about their availability or production are not provided. ## Industries - 🍿 Arts and Entertainment - 🍿 Visual Arts and Design _(under Arts and Entertainment)_ - 💎 Luxury - 💎 Fine Art and Collectibles _(under Luxury)_ ## Links - [instagram](https://instagram.com/mark__whalen) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idBOy1FxP2/w/180/h/180/theme/light/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1792781149606) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idBOy1FxP2/w/100/h/100/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1792781149783) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Cape Palliser | #9f5f46 | accent | | St Tropaz | #2b5386 | dark | | Illusion | #f39bce | light | ## Fonts - -apple-system — asset _(system)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
