## Description

Marlborough Basketball Association (MBA) is the home of basketball in the Marlborough region of New Zealand. The association promotes the sport and supports the growth and development of basketball players across a range of ages and levels, from junior and college programmes to senior and representative teams. Whether newcomers want to join a team or experienced players are seeking representative opportunities, MBA provides ways to take part in the local basketball community.

The association also welcomes people who want to contribute off the court, with opportunities to become a coach or an official, including as a referee, floor controller or bench official. Its website helps members and visitors find events, a club calendar, game-day draws and app information, along with monthly newsletters, a photo gallery, funding and other resources. MBA also offers branded merchandise through its online shop and acknowledges the sponsors that support its work. Based at Stadium 2000 on Kinross Street in Blenheim, Marlborough Basketball Association connects players, volunteers and supporters through organised basketball and community involvement.
