Its training draws on primary historical sources, including medieval manuscripts and instruction books, to explore Europe’s varied fighting traditions. The club’s main disciplines are longsword, sword and buckler, and rapier. Training also covers dagger and unarmed techniques, while members can pursue additional historical subjects through study groups, including wrestling and fighting with the main gauche. Alongside regular club training, MARS offers workshops and demonstrations for external groups and events. These can feature different historical styles and weapons, such as longsword, daggers and medieval unarmed combat, with content tailored in consultation with organisers. People interested in taking part can request a free trial lesson, and the club provides information about joining, training and upcoming events through its website. MARS combines practical martial arts practice with historical study, encouraging technical development, research and personal growth in a supportive club setting. ## Industries - 🏈 Sports - 🏈 Martial Arts _(under Sports)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/MARS-Vechtschool-voor-middeleeuwse-krijgskunsten-Noord-Nederland-300240436700540) - [instagram](https://instagram.com/marsmartialarts) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idX6q2xZPg/w/388/h/54/theme/light/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793264625973) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idX6q2xZPg/w/2048/h/2048/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793264627318) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Atomic Tangerine | #fe9361 | accent | | Port Gore | #191e3e | dark | | Picton Blue | #3899ec | light | ## Fonts - Arial — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
