## Description

Marshalling Brain Injuries Alliance (MBIA), the broader identity of Marshalling CTE CIC, is a UK community interest company supporting people affected by CTE, traumatic brain injury and other brain injury-related conditions. Created from lived experience, the organisation aims to provide support, education and hope, helping individuals and families feel less alone.

MBIA offers peer support groups in safe, confidential spaces for people living with brain injury, alongside dedicated support for families, carers and friends. Its online resources cover brain injury, brain anatomy, patient and family guidance, lifestyle and brain health, prevention, research, treatments and therapies. Topics include neurofeedback, red and near-infrared light therapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and nutrition. MBIA shares balanced, evidence-informed information to help people make informed decisions about care options.

The organisation also raises awareness of concussion, repeated impacts, TBI and CTE, advocates for better understanding and support, and amplifies lived experiences. Through its team, blog, supporters and forthcoming podcast, MBIA works to build a more informed, compassionate community across the UK.
