## Description

Marsh Education is an Arizona-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to teaching children about the state’s native fishes. Its vision is for Arizonans to appreciate, respect, and protect these species, and its mission is to help young learners understand their importance through engaging education. The organization offers Sharing Tails and Camp Sharing Tails, programs created by Arizona fish scientist Carol Pacey, MSc. These programs connect learning about native Arizona fishes with science, mathematics, reading, writing, and art. They are designed to reinforce relevant Arizona Science Standards and grade-level English Language Arts and Mathematics Standards, while encouraging students to consider careers in science and related STEM and STEAM fields.
