## Description

Martial Life Skills teaches Bujinkan Ninjutsu, an art drawing on nine traditional schools: three Ninjutsu and six Samurai lineages with roots in feudal Japan. The training uses traditional techniques and weapons to develop practical fundamentals such as balance, distance, timing, and footwork, then applies these principles to modern self-defense. The school has also developed its own street-combat syllabus, covering armed and unarmed defense.

Classes may include basic movement, rolling, striking, traditional techniques, modern combat, weapons practice, evasions, awareness, and the warrior mindset. The program aims to build confidence, humility, and awareness, equipping students with skills for facing contemporary challenges. Training is open to people aged 16 and over. A first lesson is free, and prospective members can decide whether to join before paying membership within their first month. Students also have the opportunity to train in Japan.

The Gold Coast school is currently closed while the organization moves to the Sunshine Coast and rebuilds its home dojo.
