## Description

The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Endowments of Algeria serves as a pivotal institution dedicated to the promotion and management of religious practices, cultural heritage, and Islamic affairs within the country. This ministry oversees a diverse range of services including the organization of religious pilgrimages like Hajj and Umrah through its National Office of Pilgrimage and is actively involved in the dissemination of Islamic knowledge and legal guidance via its electronic fatwa services.

Its commitment to education is reflected in initiatives such as the Quranic education programs and the National Quran Competition, which aim to foster religious literacy and preserve Islamic traditions. Moreover, the ministry hosts numerous cultural events, lectures, and international conferences that highlight the significance of the Maliki School of thought and other Islamic teachings. Additionally, it provides digital resources such as the Algerian Digital Library for Religious Media and encourages community engagement through open channels for suggestions and inquiries. This comprehensive approach underscores the ministry's role in nurturing a spiritually informed society aligned with Islamic values.
