## Description

Maryland General Service, Inc. (MGS) serves Alcoholics Anonymous in Maryland as Area 29, providing a connection point for local groups, representatives, officers, committees, and intergroups. Its website helps members participate in A.A. service and find information about the organization’s structure, districts, events, and public service activities. Groups and service representatives can access forms and tools for reporting, group updates, expense submissions, and contributions, along with assembly documents, handbooks, and calendars.

MGS also shares A.A. literature and service resources, including links to books, pamphlets, newsletters, guidelines, and materials for general service representatives and district committee members. Its committees address areas such as accessibility, archives, corrections, finance, public information, technology, and treatment and bridging the gap. The organization provides information for people concerned about a drinking problem and directs visitors seeking meetings or A.A. information to relevant resources. Maryland General Service supports communication and service across Area 29 while connecting visitors with local and external A.A. resources.
