## Description

Marzili Movie is an open-air cinema event held at the Marzili public swimming pool in Bern, Switzerland. For more than 20 years, it has brought a holiday atmosphere to the city through a distinctive mix of film, food and live music. Each year, the organisers independently select a different country as the event’s theme, presenting a selection of films, culinary treats and musical performances connected with that country. This combination makes Marzili Movie more than a film screening: it is a gathering designed to create a lively, welcoming atmosphere for visitors.

The event is organised by Verein Marzili-Movie and relies on the involvement of volunteers, supporters, sponsors and audiences. The organisation invites people to volunteer, become supporters, explore sponsorship opportunities and purchase vouchers. It also shares programme information, media resources and details of past events. The next Marzili Movie is scheduled for 19–24 July 2027. The cinema takes place at Freibad Marzili, Marzilistrasse 29, Bern, while the association’s postal address is Blumensteinstrasse 15, Bern.
