## Description

The Massage Therapy Foundation (MTF) is a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to advancing the knowledge and practice of massage therapy. Since its inception in 1990, MTF has been committed to supporting scientific research, education, and community service in the field of massage therapy. They strive to promote the benefits of massage therapy and enhance its accessibility to people from all walks of life. MTF has provided over $1 million in research grants to study the science behind therapeutic massage. They also publish an open-access, peer-reviewed scientific journal and offer a range of educational resources for massage therapists, educators, and students. In addition, MTF extends its support to populations in need by providing community service grants for therapeutic massage. With a vision for an evidence-informed and accessible massage therapy practice for everyone, MTF upholds the principles of philanthropy, contributes to the understanding and appreciation of massage therapy, and actively collaborates with partners to fulfill their mission.
