Massachusetts Library System (MLS) is a state-supported collaborative that provides services to around 1,600 libraries throughout Massachusetts. Established in 2010, MLS fosters cooperation and communication among member libraries of all types. Their mission is to promote equitable access to excellent library services and resources for all residents of Massachusetts.

MLS offers a range of products and services including BiblioTemps, consulting and training, databases, delivery services, eBooks, interlibrary loan and document delivery, MassCat membership, policy collection, purchasing cooperative, and the Summer Library Program. MLS places emphasis on social justice and upholds core library values such as diversity, inclusion, equity, access to information, free expression, privacy, and social justice. They return over $54 million in value to local municipalities and provide critical, cost-effective service statewide.
