Materiais Diversos | Alcanena is a dynamic and innovative brand that promotes artistic and cultural experiences through its diverse range of products and services. With a focus on dance, theater, music, and performance, Materiais Diversos brings together different audiences and imaginations to explore contemporary arts and critical thinking. Since its inception in 2009 in Minde, it has expanded to Alcanena and Cartaxo, becoming one of Portugal's most significant programming projects outside major cities. The festival, which was previously held annually, has now become a biennial event starting from its tenth edition in 2019. From October 5th to 15th, 2023, Materiais Diversos will be hosting a captivating program in Alcanena and Minde, featuring dazzling dance, theater, and music performances, immersive installations, and engaging conversations. This 12th edition aims to slow down the pace and highlight the people, places, and processes involved in the festival. Stay tuned for the program release in August! Additionally, Materiais Diversos supports various artists and projects across different territories, offering production consulting services and fostering new materials and collaborations.
