## Description

Maternitas is a baby and maternal care centre in Jindřichův Hradec, Czech Republic, opened in March 2024. Founded by Petra Kubasová, a mother of four and qualified occupational therapist, the centre draws on her experience supporting babies and families since 2013. Its services focus on pregnancy, early parenthood, infant care and children’s development, with options for mothers and children beyond the first year as well.

Offerings include baby bathing sessions, practical handling guidance, infant massage, consultations on psychomotor development, breastfeeding advice, pregnancy taping, Rebozo support, exercise sessions for mothers and babies, and supportive group meetings. The services are designed to help parents prepare for caring for a baby, encourage development in line with a child’s needs, and find guidance or reassurance during pregnancy and early parenthood. Some services are also suitable for older children and women after childbirth. Maternitas is led by a practitioner whose work emphasizes prevention, informed care and the wellbeing of both mothers and children.
