# MATESinConstruction - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `matesinconstruction.org.au` ## Description MATES Australia is a national mental health and suicide prevention organisation working with industry partners to create safer, more supportive workplaces and communities. Its evidence-based programs focus on construction, energy, mining and manufacturing, helping workers recognise mental health challenges, offer support and build a culture where mates look out for one another. MATES provides on-site and industry training, peer support, case management and access to trained case managers for people facing difficult times. Its services also include a helpline, online resources, mental health materials and suicide prevention tools. Businesses can explore partnerships, access research and funding opportunities, and seek site accreditation to demonstrate their commitment to workplace wellbeing. Through its programs, MATES trains workers to identify concerns and respond with practical support. The organisation reports more than 400,000 workers inducted, nearly 40,000 Connectors trained and over 18,000 cases managed. MATES also shares its model internationally through MATES in New Zealand and a North American pilot, extending industry-specific mental health and suicide prevention support to more workplaces. ## Industries - ⛑ Health - ⛑ Mental Health _(under Health)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/matesinconstruction) - [instagram](https://instagram.com/matesinconstruction) - [linkedin](https://linkedin.com/company/mates-in-construction) - [twitter](https://twitter.com/MATESConstruct) ## Logos & icons - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idEn48e02_/w/400/h/400/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793647088227) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Cinnabar | #ed3a3d | accent | | Hawaiian Tan | #9f4f17 | dark | | White | #ffffff | light | ## Imagery - banner _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idEn48e02_/w/1500/h/500/idhSzN94e1.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793647087991) --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
