## Description

Mathis Pour La Vie is a nonprofit association based in Saint-Just-en-Chevalet, in France’s Loire region. Founded in April 2008, it supports children with disabilities and their families, helping address costs and challenges that can remain despite available public assistance. The association provides financial support for disability-related equipment and expenses not covered by conventional social agencies, and may advance costs while families await grants or other aid. It also offers moral support, answers questions within its areas of expertise, and accompanies families as they develop current and future plans. For building adaptations, the association can help manage projects from planning and estimates through financing and implementation. Its work is tailored to individual circumstances rather than a specific type of disability, with each child’s needs considered separately. Support may continue until a child has sufficient autonomy for everyday life or receives full coverage through other means. The association also organizes events that bring together supported children, families, and volunteers, and invites the public to contribute through donations and partnerships.
