## Description

Matty Jorissen is an award-winning animation maker and ink cartoonist based in Strijp-S, Eindhoven, the Netherlands. The independent creative practice focuses on visual storytelling, helping clients communicate their ideas through distinctive, energetic work shaped around each client’s voice. Matty creates animations, including playful explainers and personal stories, with a style that can be funny, moving or unconventional while keeping a clear message. The website features a selection of animated projects and directs visitors to more work on YouTube.

Alongside animation, Matty produces hand-painted illustrations and cartoons using ink wash, ink and watercolor, and mixed media. Examples include character drawings, posters, and artwork created for projects such as Brabantsedag and Glow. Some work combines hand inking with animation, bringing together analog illustration and moving images.
