## Description

Maude Basley Couture is a Bordeaux-based couture studio led by designer and seamstress Maude Basley, who creates made-to-measure bridal gowns and eveningwear. With more than 15 years of experience in haute couture, Maude draws on precise tailoring, refined finishes and a sensitive, personal approach to create distinctive garments for each client. Every piece is designed for one person, with the client’s preferences, silhouette and personality guiding the process.

The custom-gown experience begins with a consultation at the studio to discuss needs, style and ideas. Maude then develops a sketch and defines the model, fabrics and details with the client. A cotton toile is used to shape the garment and refine its structure, followed by fittings and alterations that perfect the cut and finish. The process concludes with a final fitting before the special occasion. The studio’s creations include unique bridal dresses and other custom outfits, made through close collaboration and careful attention to detail.
