## Description

Maxell is a renowned brand that has been providing exceptional consumer electronic products for over 50 years. Established in the United States in 1969, Maxell became famous for its cassette tapes, VHS tapes, headphones, OEM batteries, and optical components. The company initially started by introducing the first alkaline dry batteries in Japan in 1963 and later expanded its product portfolio with cassette tapes in the Japanese market.

In the 1980s, Maxell's "Blown Away Guy" ad campaign became a pop culture phenomenon. The iconic image of a man with his hair and tie blown away by the high fidelity of the cassette tape playing through the speaker captivated audiences. Maxell even recreated the scene with the "Blown Away Woman" in a nationwide commercial and Rolling Stone Magazine ad.

Today, Maxell continues to deliver a comprehensive range of batteries, digital media products, care and maintenance items, headphones, and earbuds. With a commitment to staying ahead of market trends, Maxell will continue producing exceptional products for the next 50 years and beyond.
