## Description

The adidas MaXi-Race is a mountain trail-running event based around Lake Annecy in Haute-Savoie, France. It invites participants to explore the region’s trails, lake views and local culture through challenges suited to different abilities and ambitions. The program includes competitive “Race” events and inclusive “eXperience” formats, where participants are treated equally and there are no podiums. Competitive options include a solo tour of the lake, a half-tour, a quarter-tour and the Ado-Race. Experience events include a two-day lake tour, solidarity relays for teams of two or three, a loop-format marathon and the Mini-Race for children under 10. Distances range from shorter trail routes to a solo lake tour of around 100 kilometres, with substantial elevation on the longer courses. Organized with the involvement of local associations, the event also relies on hundreds of volunteers. Its stated values include charity, inclusion and environmental responsibility. The MaXi-Race offers race information, registration, practical guidance, event merchandise and a village featuring exhibitors.
