## Description

Maxim Stockholm is a cultural venue in Stockholm that presents music, comedy, dance, film, theatre and conversations. Its stated aim is to offer a broad programme for the city, bringing audiences together through entertainment while also engaging with important contemporary issues. Visitors can also enjoy art, food or a glass of wine as part of their experience.

The venue’s restaurant, Framfickan, is described as an intimate extension of its cultural programme. Its pared-back menu combines Asian small plates with Scandinavian influences, with quality and conviviality at the centre. Maxim also offers its spaces for meetings and events, with capacity for gatherings of up to 700 people. Other offerings have included event tickets and gift cards, as well as Maxim Friend memberships that provide benefits, discounts and invitations.

Maxim’s website states that the venue is currently closed while it awaits a new owner. It has also reported applying for bankruptcy, noting that additional capital is needed. Accordingly, its programme and services may not currently be available.
