## Description

The Maxwell Mission is a youth-focused organization inspired by the legacy of the Maxwell family. Its purpose is to share the good news of Jesus Christ with young people through basketball, bringing faith and sport together in community activities. The mission currently centers on two main programs: Open Gym and the Maxwell Family 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament. These basketball programs provide the setting for the organization’s outreach and its efforts to connect with youth.

The annual tournament invites participants to compete in three-on-three basketball and is held in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The site lists the third annual event for Saturday, May 16, at Terry Sanford High School. It also features information about the tournament, the Open Gym program, donations, a scholarship, and photo galleries documenting events from 2013 through 2019. Visitors can follow the organization’s updates or contact Hunter Bell with questions. Through its programs and related activities, The Maxwell Mission uses basketball as a means of youth outreach rooted in its Christian purpose.
