## Description

Boardmaker is a well-established brand that offers a suite of solutions for parents, special education professionals, and therapists. With a history dating back to the 1970s, the brand was founded by Roxie Johnson, a speech therapist who recognized the need for picture symbols to aid communication for individuals with limited or no speech. What started as a book called The Picture Communication Symbols (PCS) has now evolved into a vast collection of over 45,000 PCS used by millions of students and adults worldwide. Boardmaker's product line includes Boardmaker 7, which is a powerful software that allows users to create custom teaching materials tailored to the needs of their students. This software offers an extensive library of symbols and graphic styles, along with ready-to-print communication boards, activities, and lesson plans. Additionally, Boardmaker provides resources for literacy assessment, skill building, social and emotional learning, behavior management, and more. By subscribing to Boardmaker 7, customers also gain access to a thriving community of over 500,000 educators, parents, and Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) who share ideas and support. Shop now to discover the comprehensive range of educational, communication, access, and social/emotional learning products offered by Boardmaker.
