## Description

The Music Business Academy for Africa is a leading platform dedicated to developing a more informed and empowered workforce for the African Music and Entertainment industry. Established in 2020, it started as an Internship Programme and later evolved into a Talent Management Training Programme, responding to the increasing interest in music business education as African music gained global recognition. The Academy's mission is to provide a vocational program that combines African market adaptability with global best practices. Their esteemed faculty, consisting of industry experts, business owners, and marketing managers, ensures that students receive the most up-to-date and relevant knowledge. In collaboration with iManage Africa and Music Ally, the Academy is now bringing a program of global industry standards to Africa for the first time. The curriculum includes 6 modules, 24 classes, and 36 contact hours, offering a practical and hands-on approach to learning. This year, they have introduced the Talent Project, where selected students will develop and represent emerging African talents. The program aims to achieve tangible results in artist development, music sales, and social media growth. With their focus on training and empowering Africa's entertainment industry, the Music Business Academy for Africa is paving the way for a thriving creative sector.
