## Description

Modellbaufreunde Siegen is an informal community for people interested in plastic scale modeling in the Siegen area of Germany. The group welcomes a broad range of interests, including aircraft, vehicles, ships, figures, and dioramas, and shares information about its activities, contacts, and upcoming dates. Its website introduces the community and provides news about meetings and modeling events, along with an archive of past exhibitions.

A key activity is the group’s model-building exhibition in Wilnsdorf, where enthusiasts can display and explore models. The event cannot be held in 2026 because the Festhalle Wilnsdorf is unavailable during renovation work. The group says it is continuing to work toward organizing a future exhibition and will share updates when available. News posted on the site has also covered exhibition hall plans, changes to the group’s meeting place, participation in the EME event in Lingen, and the resumption of regular meetings. Modellbaufreunde Siegen is a community rather than a commercial retailer, bringing together hobbyists across many areas of plastic modeling.
