# Modellbauclub Flensburg - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `mc-flensburg.de` ## Description Modellclub Flensburg e.V. is a volunteer model-building club in northern Germany, bringing together enthusiasts of ships, sailboats and radio-controlled cars. Its roots date to 1962, when the Schiffsmodellklub Flensburg was founded; as membership and interests grew, the club developed into three specialist sections. Members build and share a wide range of models, from functional, detailed motorized ship replicas and historic vessels to kit-built boats. The sailing section sails and trains with several classes, including Micro Magic, RG65 and Marblehead, at locations around the region. RC-car members can practise at the indoor track in Oeversee, which accommodates many classes but excludes combustion-powered and off-road vehicles. The club also organizes regular races and an open club championship, and hosts Tamiya Euro-Cup events. Its activities include training, competitions and community gatherings, with news and schedules shared through the club’s website.
