## Description

The Marine Corps Association (MCA) is a membership-based professional organization of the United States Marine Corps, founded more than 100 years ago by General John A. Lejeune. It promotes professional development, recognizes excellence, and builds awareness of the Corps’ traditions, history, and esprit. Members receive reduced rates for professional events, exclusive promotions at The Book Store, and a choice of print and digital access to Leatherneck – Magazine of the Marines and The Marine Corps Gazette.

MCA offers resources for Marines and their families, including professional reading, leadership and ethics materials, battle studies, decision-making exercises, unit library support, writing contests, career resources, and wellness and community programs. Its publications, podcasts, films, archives, and events provide ways to stay informed and connected with the Marine Corps community. The Marine Corps Association Foundation, MCA’s nonprofit arm, supports Marines through unit libraries, commanders’ forums, and professional military education trips. Together, the association and foundation serve Marines worldwide while helping develop leaders and preserve the Corps’ professional heritage.
