## Description

McAllen Family Martial Arts Academy is a family-focused martial arts school in McAllen, Texas, providing training for children, teens, and adults. Founded in 2004 by Shifu Israel Flores, the academy teaches traditional Kung Fu using modern training methods. Its approach aims to build not only martial arts skills but also confidence, discipline, focus, strong character, and personal growth.

Programs include kids’ classes for ages 5–12, teen classes for ages 13–17, and adult classes for a range of fitness and experience levels. Adult training covers traditional Kung Fu techniques such as striking, blocking, and kicking. The academy also offers self-defense workshops. Classes are designed to welcome beginners and support students as they develop at their own pace.

Led by Shifu Flores and his team, the academy emphasizes expert instruction, a modern training facility, and a supportive community where families can learn together. Located at 7104 N 23rd St., Suite 50, McAllen, the school invites prospective students to try two weeks of training for $20.
