## Description

Spine Associates is a New York City orthopedic spine practice led by Dr. Sean McCance, a board-certified spine surgeon who has directed the practice for two decades. Located on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, the practice treats patients from across the United States and around the world. Its orthopedic spine surgeons diagnose and manage back and neck pain, scoliosis, spinal deformities, herniated discs, spinal stenosis, fractures, and other spine conditions. Care is tailored to each patient, with non-surgical treatments considered before surgery when appropriate.

Services range from evaluation and second opinions to a broad range of spinal procedures, including minimally invasive and robotic surgery, cervical and lumbar fusion, disc replacement, decompression, scoliosis correction, and revision surgery. The practice also treats pediatric scoliosis and spine tumors. Its team helps coordinate diagnostic tests, insurance pre-authorization, referrals, and appointments, and accepts most insurance. Dr. McCance is also co-director of spine surgery at Mount Sinai Hospital and an attending spine surgeon at Lenox Hill Hospital.
