## Description

The Marine Climate Change Impacts Partnership (MCCIP) is an independent UK organization dedicated to addressing the impacts of climate change on marine environments. Established in 2005, MCCIP serves as the primary source of marine climate change evidence and adaptation advice, emphasizing scientific integrity and stakeholder engagement. By collaborating with hundreds of scientists, MCCIP produces comprehensive evidence reviews and summaries that inform policy decisions and support conservation initiatives.

The organization focuses on key areas including the impacts on marine ecosystems, fisheries, and coastal communities across various UK regions and international waters. Its strategic goals for Phase IV (2020-2025) include rolling updates of scientific evidence, responding to emerging user needs, and facilitating adaptation and mitigation strategies with relevant stakeholders. Additionally, MCCIP seeks to enhance international collaboration on marine climate response through platforms like UNFCCC COP. With a commitment to dynamic user engagement, MCCIP aims to provide valuable insights and resources to help navigate the challenges posed by climate change in marine contexts.
