## Description

The Monash Centre for Health Research and Implementation (MCHRI) is a collaborative partnership between Monash University and Monash Health, focused on improving patient experience and health outcomes through research, education and practical healthcare initiatives. Its work centres on women’s health and wellbeing across the lifespan, including reproductive health, pregnancy and postpartum care, menopause, cardiovascular health, diabetes, mental health, healthy ageing, and gender equity and financial security.

MCHRI develops and supports evidence-based programs, clinical and public health interventions, guidelines, and implementation resources to help translate research into better care. Its offerings include digital health tools and information for women, such as AskPMOS, Ask Early Menopause and Ask Fertility, alongside resources for health professionals on PMOS, early menopause, infertility, gestational diabetes and mental health in pregnancy. The centre also provides professional development, research support, policy briefs and submissions, and opportunities for community and stakeholder involvement. Through partnerships, learning health systems and research translation, MCHRI aims to create sustainable, cost-effective approaches that can improve health outcomes and promote greater equity.
