McKee Garden, located in Vero Beach, Florida, is a historic botanical garden that offers a unique tropical experience for visitors of all ages. After a period of dormancy, community visionaries came together to rescue and restore 18 acres of the garden. Today, McKee Botanical Garden remains true to its founders' vision, boasting over 10,000 native and tropical plants, including Florida's largest collection of water lilies. Visitors can also explore restored architectural treasures, such as The Hall of Giants and Spanish Kitchen. In addition to horticultural wonders, McKee Botanical Garden offers internationally renowned exhibits, educational programs, and cultural events. Notably, the new Children's Garden, designed to inspire imagination and curiosity in youngsters, fosters a powerful bond between families and nature.
