These facilities, known as Medical Care Facilities (MCFs), provide essential services to citizens in all of Michigan's 83 counties, regardless of their ability to pay for care. MCFs offer a wide range of services, including child care, adult day care, computer classes, end-of-life programs, unique meal services, and rehabilitative therapy. These facilities also prioritize staff satisfaction, offering higher wages and better benefits than other nursing homes, resulting in lower staff turnover rates.
