# mcmodelers.com - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `mcmodelers.com` ## Description Martin County Modelers is a Florida nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting radio-controlled (RC) modeling and flying. Founded in 1980, the club is chartered by the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) and serves hobbyists in the Hobe Sound area. Its flying field is located at 5400 SE Bridge Road, on land leased from Martin County; club members maintain the site. A central offering is beginner flight training. New members can learn to fly using a club airplane and a buddy-box system under the guidance of a qualified instructor, without first purchasing an aircraft or equipment. Training is available for up to 90 days, helping newcomers build confidence and understand which airplane and equipment suit their abilities before buying. The club lists annual membership at $150, plus a one-time $50 initiation fee, and also requires AMA membership. Martin County Modelers brings its community together through club events, flying activities, newsletters, and member support for modeling projects. ## Industries - 🎸 Hobbies and Leisure - 🎸 Models _(under Hobbies and Leisure)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/MartinCountyModelers) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idGV0KKkuQ/w/720/h/720/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793674193044) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Blue Zodiac | #112e51 | accent | | Black | #000000 | dark | | Spring Wood | #fbf9f8 | light | ## Fonts - system-ui — asset _(system)_ - system-ui — asset _(system)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
