## Description

McMurtry Automotive is a British engineering and automotive company founded in 2016 under the guidance of engineer and inventor Sir David McMurtry. Based in the Cotswolds, the company develops high-performance electric vehicles, drawing on expertise in vehicle engineering and advanced technology. Its flagship model is the Spéirling PURE, a limited-production, single-seat electric fan car designed and built in Britain. Production is limited to 100 vehicles, with each car tailored to its owner through extensive exterior and interior personalisation options.

The Spéirling PURE combines twin-motor, rear-wheel drive with a 100kWh battery and Downforce-on-Demand technology. McMurtry lists up to 1,000bhp, a top speed of 190mph and 0–60mph acceleration in 1.55 seconds. Customers can also access track experiences through the owners’ club, with trackside operation available independently or with factory support. The company offers applied technology collaborations and provides information for prospective customers through its website. McMurtry’s record-setting achievements, including performances at Goodwood and the Top Gear Test Track, reflect its focus on pushing the limits of electric performance.
