Welcome to the Missouri Civil War Museum at Jefferson Barracks, the state's premier Civil War museum dedicated to honoring the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice. Located at Jefferson Barracks, our museum showcases a vast collection of weapons, equipment, items, and uniforms from the Civil War era, providing an unbiased interpretation of this defining period in our nation's history. Explore our exhibits and learn about Missouri's significant role in the Civil War, from influential figures like Francis P. Blair Jr. Our newest exhibits, Jefferson Barracks: Through the Years and Hollywood and the Civil War, offer captivating insights into the men who served at Jefferson Barracks and the impact of Civil War-themed films. In addition to our exhibits, we are excited to announce the upcoming opening of the beautifully restored 1918 Exchange Building, which will be available for hosting various events. From retirement parties to luncheons, we provide a memorable venue for any occasion. Visit us today to immerse yourself in the history and legacy of the Civil War.
