## Description

MDA Hellas is a charitable association in Greece dedicated to caring for people with neuromuscular conditions and improving the quality of life of its members. The organisation reports supporting more than 1,000 families and works to connect individuals and families with practical, social and emotional assistance. Its services include psychological support, social care and therapeutic exercise, alongside educational programmes and activities that promote awareness of neuromuscular conditions. MDA Hellas also supports specialised neuromuscular units, participates in European support programmes and operates “The MDA House,” providing further resources for its community.

The association shares information about neuromuscular diseases, scientific publications, collaborations and developments in research and clinical trials. It also organises recreational events, awareness initiatives and running activities, including marathons and the MDA Run. Donations, sponsorships and volunteering help fund its work and support people affected by these conditions. Through its programmes, information and community activities, MDA Hellas aims to provide ongoing support while contributing to greater understanding and progress in the field of neuromuscular health.
