## Description

Maryland Information Network (MdInfoNet) is a public-benefit nonprofit that strengthens access to information and services across Maryland. Working with state agencies, hospitals, service providers, legislators, and community and nonprofit organizations, it helps align social systems, identify gaps in support, and connect residents with help. MdInfoNet also administers Maryland’s 211 system and provides infrastructure behind 211, 988, MAP resource navigation, and other programs.

Its services help organizations expand access, inform residents, uncover data insights, and build solutions to complex health and human services challenges. Offerings include call routing, searchable resource databases, natural-language assistants, SMS engagement, targeted outreach, user assessments, data dashboards and exchanges, and resource data curation and management. MdInfoNet also supports care coordination and partner engagement.

Through programs such as hospital transition and behavioral health care coordination, the network connects patients with treatment, benefits, and community resources. Its work combines statewide data, technology, and partnerships to improve service navigation, support informed decision-making, and help communities reach people who may be missed by traditional outreach.
