## Description

McKenzie Dental Practices of Oregon operates a dental assisting school in Springfield, near Eugene, Oregon. Its mission is to train future dental assistants for lasting careers by sharing professional knowledge, practical skills, and real-world experience. The school welcomes both newcomers to the field and working dental professionals seeking to expand their skills through additional training.

Its offerings include a four-month dental assistant program, as well as specialized courses in radiology proficiency, local anesthesia functions, denture soft relines, pit and fissure sealants, subgingival cord placement, and nitrous oxide. Teaching combines experienced instruction, hands-on clinical training, and hybrid classes in a modern dental office equipped with CEREC machines and 3D CBCT imaging. The main program costs $12,500, including scrubs and books, and payment plans are available.

Students develop knowledge and skills to pursue relevant Dental Assisting National Board exams and prepare for work in dental practices. The school also assists graduates with job placement through its network of dentists and dental professionals.
