## Description

MDRoads is a unique online resource dedicated to the exploration and documentation of Maryland's highways and route history. Founded in 1998 by road enthusiast Mike, the site evolved from a personal fascination that began in 1992, when he first noted the changes in highway routes over the decades by comparing historical maps. MDRoads serves as an informational hub for "roadgeeks" and "roadfans," featuring a comprehensive text route listing that is continually updated to reflect the current and historical landscape of Maryland's roadways.

The platform highlights the evolution of roads in the state, acknowledging routes that may have faded into obscurity over time. MDRoads encourages user engagement, inviting visitors to share requests for specific routes or offer feedback, which helps shape future content. With its informative approach, MDRoads aims to provide users with both a historical perspective and practical information about Maryland's highways, making it a must-visit for anyone interested in the state's road network.
