## Description

PT MDS Retailing Tbk (LPPF) is one of Indonesia’s established retailers, with a history dating to 1958, when founder Hari Darmawan opened a children’s fashion store in Jakarta. The business developed into Indonesia’s first modern department store in 1972. Formerly known as PT Matahari Department Store Tbk, the company adopted its current name in 2026 to reflect its growth into a multi-concept retail network. Its portfolio centers on the Matahari Department Store format and includes retail concepts SUKO, ZES, and MU+KU, as well as private-label brands Nevada, COLE, Connexion, and Little M. These offerings span fashion and lifestyle retail, including apparel and activewear. SUKO, for example, introduced SUKO GO, an activewear collection for sporty and dynamic lifestyles. MDS Retailing operates more than 140 stores across nearly 80 cities in Indonesia, serving customers through a broad nationwide store network. The company also provides investor information, including financial statements, annual and quarterly reports, stock information, and corporate announcements, alongside updates about its activities and career opportunities.
