## Description

Maryland Sting is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit youth basketball organization based in Columbia, Maryland. Through AAU and travel basketball, the club offers young athletes opportunities to develop their skills and compete in organized programs. Players can explore programs, register for seasonal teams, and take part in tryouts, with Spring 2026 registration announced as open for all age groups. The organization highlights a record of more than 50 championships, over 100 players advancing to the next level, and more than a decade of program experience.

Maryland Sting’s approach extends beyond competition. The club emphasizes teamwork, personal growth, tenacity, and determination, encouraging players to keep improving on and off the court. Its website also provides team news, schedules, registration information, and a team store, alongside opportunities for donations and community involvement. As a nonprofit, Maryland Sting says it supports students and athletes through resources, scholarships, mentoring, and outreach, and welcomes community support for its mission.
