MEpedia is a crowd-sourced, Wikipedia-style encyclopedia that serves as a comprehensive resource for the news, history, and science of myalgic encephalomyelitis (ME) and chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS). The purpose of MEpedia is to bring together the vast knowledge scattered throughout the medical, scientific, and patient communities concerning ME, CFS, and related conditions. What sets MEpedia apart is that it is written by a community of volunteer contributors from the internet, making it a collaborative and inclusive platform. MEpedia follows a set of core principles that include a commitment to evidence, transparency, taking a broad view, and allowing room for debate and speculation. These principles ensure that the information provided on MEpedia is comprehensive, reliable, and accessible to both experts and individuals with varying levels of exposure to scientific knowledge.
