Over the years, the farm has evolved into what it is today, known as Mead Orchards. Under the stewardship of Gordon's son, Sid, and later co-partnered by Sid's son, Chuck, Mead Orchards expanded its offerings. They started with shipping apples to NYC and eventually focused on cultivating a wide variety of fruits and vegetables. Today, they grow apples, pears, peaches, plums, apricots, nectarines, berries, cherries, pumpkins, sweet corn, squash, tomatoes, peppers, and more.
