About Meadville Lombard

Our mission is to carry on the living tradition of Unitarian Universalism and empower our students to embody the collaborative work of liberation through congregational and community leadership. At Meadville Lombard, we offer a range of programs to support the education and growth of our students. Our programs include a Master of Divinity, MA in Religion, Doctor of Ministry, and a Certificate Program.
Additionally, we provide lifelong learning opportunities through our LIGHT Global Initiatives, which offer courses, retreats, conferences, and spiritual direction formation and certification. We take pride in our values, which include integrating scholarly excellence in theological education, centering interculturality for spiritual leadership formation, and harnessing accountability to repair historical wrongs and present injustice. Through our innovative and ethical leadership, we aim to build a Beloved Community.
