## Description

MeatEater Steak & Wine is an intimate steakhouse in Prague’s Old Town, founded in 2019 by grillmaster Daniele Govoni and his wife, Julia. Designed for just 22 guests per service, the restaurant offers a fine-dining experience centered on premium meat, open-fire cooking and attentive hospitality. Guests can watch each cut being prepared in the open kitchen on a Monolith grill fueled with Quebracho Blanco charcoal.

The menu features selected, award-winning meats from around the world, including Stone Axe full-blood Wagyu from Australia, A5+ Wagyu from Kagoshima, Creekstone Black Angus from the United States and dry-aged, bone-in Swami beef from Denmark. Seasonal sides and salads accompany the steaks, and the restaurant also offers a wine-focused dining experience. Reservations are strongly recommended; lunch is available by advance booking on operating days.

Led by SCA European Champion 2022 Govoni, MeatEater has received recognition from Gault&Millau, Forbes Czech Republic and other organizations. Govoni also provides courses and consulting for food-industry professionals and companies.
