## Description

Meat Ranger is a South African brand created by Kevin Wright to celebrate the open-fire cooking community and the traditions of the braai. Its focus is on preparing quality meat over real wood, exploring distinctive flavours and techniques, and appreciating where food comes from. The brand encourages people to learn about the farmers and local butchers behind their meat, and supports independent butchers over supermarket mass-produced feedlot meat.

Through its website and YouTube channel, Meat Ranger shares recipes, videos, cooking tips and ideas for braai lovers. Its recipes feature a range of dishes and methods, including pork neck steaks, lamb pie and smoked Wagyu short rib. The site also offers butchery reviews through its Ranger Diaries, helping followers discover places to find quality meat. Craft beer and local brewing are part of the experience, with pairing suggestions that promote responsible enjoyment and support for local brewers. Meat Ranger also provides merchandise and invites its community to share recipes, knowledge and inspiration, bringing people together around open-fire cooking.
