Its mission is to provide birds with a safe place to live and care that recognizes their needs. The sanctuary shares information about its birds, rescue stories, and work to raise awareness of the growing need for parrot rescue. MEBS offers adoption opportunities and information for people considering surrendering a parrot, though it currently reports that it is at capacity and cannot accept new surrenders. The sanctuary is not generally open to the public, but it offers private tours and holds special events. Supporters can contribute through donations, fundraising, an online auction, vehicle donations, volunteering, and its wishlist. The organization also provides parrot-care resources, including information about parrot chop. Its Project 2026 initiative is a planned indoor-outdoor aviary called Parrot Hall, for which MEBS is seeking support. Through these activities, the sanctuary works to give rescued parrots a protected home and ongoing care. ## Industries - 🐶 Pets and Animals - 🐶 Birds _(under Pets and Animals)_ - 🎗 Community and Society - 🎗 Philanthropy _(under Community and Society)_ ## Links - [instagram](https://instagram.com/birdslivesmatter2) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idmT7jQEAn/w/150/h/83/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793284933150) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idmT7jQEAn/w/100/h/100/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793284933351) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Alizarin Crimson | #e21c21 | accent | | Lonestar | #740000 | dark | | Cornflower Blue | #7b6df7 | light | ## Fonts - Arial — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
