## Description

Middle East Concern (MEC) is a dedicated organization established in 1991 to address the urgent needs of Christians in the Middle East and North Africa facing persecution and discrimination. Operating across 24 countries in the region, MEC collaborates with local churches and community leaders to monitor and document instances of oppression against Christians. Their mission involves offering vital support to victims, providing expert guidance, and facilitating global prayer initiatives.

MEC is committed to advocating for religious freedom and civil rights, engaging in political advocacy, and challenging unjust laws and policies. They also conduct training programs focused on crisis management, constitutional rights, and biblical responses to suffering. With a deep-rooted belief in standing alongside the marginalized, MEC promotes awareness of persecution's realities, urging worldwide solidarity among Christians. The organization’s activities underline a core Christian calling: to remember and care for those who suffer for their faith, reinforcing the importance of justice within a faith-driven context.
